I co run a make up artistry college at Stansted with my business partner Melinda Lane. Students from these courses always remark how much they learn & how it helps them with starting a make up business. I often have requests from women wanting a "taster" of these courses with a possible view to it becoming a career. So, Gorgeous Make Up Artistry Courses were born. Running from 9.30am - 2.30pm , so within school hours, you will learn all you need to know for YOUR level & needs. These courses are a great introduction to make up. Split into 3 days, you can take one course or all 3 if you wish. Courses are limited to 6 students & include a light lunch.

Day 1: Introduction To Make Up £95

You will learn all about skin preparation, make up products, face & eye shapes & how to choose colours. You will then learn a day make up application & have time to try this yourself under my guidance. This day is also perfect for anyone wishing to perfect their own image.

Day 2: Introduction To Bridal Make Up £95

You will learn all about how lighting affects your make up choice. What colours & textures work best for brides & bridesmaids. How to do a thorough consultation & also applying specialised products. Finally you will watch a make up demo & then have time to practice your new skills.

Day 3: Introduction to Advanced Make Up £95

You will learn make up for teenagers, mature skin, black, oriental, olive skin & also camoflage techniques. You will learn how to disguise eye bags, discolouration & pigmentation.

You will have the opportunity to do an assessment if you have completed all 3 days & if successful will be elegible to receive client leads from me.  At this stage you will be, if you pass, completely ready to work on clients & charge for your services. Assessments last 2 hours & are charged at £40. On average I turn down 10-15 weddings each week due to being fully booked on the date requested. If you have completed & passed your assessment you will be eligible to join my make up artist affiliates & I will be able to pass these weddings on to you. You will need to have taken Day 1 before attending any further dates as this lays the foundation.
